About Our Project
The database system that we created will help employees better understand the wants/needs of their customers, along with making the process much more efficient. It will better assist employees in locating the previous data of the customeers. It will store previous accidents or incidents, rental type (retail, insurance, or corporate), and referrals. This will allow employees to find the preferences and background of the customers they are renting to in a faster and more timely manner. To expand, it will let the employees view the rate and compare which insurance package and car type, would be more beneficial for the customer. The database will place customers in tiers which will give them benefits for their future rentals, based off of past rentals. Some of these benefits would include free upgrades and discounts on their rentals. It will also generate reports with the customer’s care preference, previous rate, rental package, red flags for customers with accidents, and customer tier levels.
